Synopsis of the project “Beneath My Stones”

“Beneath my stones is an introspective exercise carried out over several years.

In the poems that compose it, the poet explores different dimensions, from the darkest fears and anxieties stirred by inner crows —«I see, without knowing what awaits me, their heads sleeping at my side»—, to criticisms encoded in the laughter of seagulls —«laughter purifies evils and yours is necessary»—. Through his poetry, the author offers us a unique and personal perspective, where emotions and insecurities blend with memories of experiences and places visited.

The journey begins with severity, without concessions, taking us step by step through a series of poems rich in reflection. The author’s raw thoughts, chiseled through poetry, are shaped by the problems of the modern world and the challenges of contemporary society. After uncovering what lies beneath the stones along the path, the collection ends with the vision of a barren landscape where other stones still remain to be lifted.”
